What is a relationship?
A relationship is a contract by two individuals (i.e. man and woman, woman and woman, man and man) who have a strong feeling for one another coming together to achieve their goals while being there to support the other. There are different kinds of support being rendered in relationships and they range from;
- Sexual support
- Financial support
- Kids
- Security
e.t.c.
Entering into a relationship for a selfish interest is one which leads to the total collapse of that relationship in no time. In our daily lives we go into one kind of relationship or the other, it might be a relationship with a person, company, group of people (i.e. association) e.t.c. what yields good output and guarantees the success of that relationship depends on;
- Trust
- sincerity
- Understanding (ability to understand one another)
- Sacrifice
- Passion
No matter the amount of trust grown in a relationship, without first and fore mostly understanding one another that relationship will not stand.
- Take time to understand your friend and also make a promise or statement in your mind to trust him/her no matter the circumstance, that’s one way to building successful relationships.
Though it might be hard but don’t rush it. “Patience is a virtue”.
- Sincerity is a vital key in the success of relationships, being sincere at all times leaves no room for doubt or mistrust.
- Sacrifice means truly giving up something important to achieve or receive a much needed item or want. It is in our nature to be tight fisted and not willing to give up things in the pursuit of a need.
Let me prove you wrong, giving up an important item to someone in need of it shows and tells well of your character and makes that person appreciate you the more. No matter how little, no matter how large, try to start sacrificing today. It might be love, money, sex, time, experience, no matter what it is, giving or sharing with another shows love and builds relationships.
- Passion is the main spice to all relationship, a passionless relationship is like a glass standing on a needle which will soon fall and shatter into pieces, that is to say it has no spark. Passion means the ratio of your love for a particular thing to the ratio of your ability to do that thing or be with that person at all cost.
Relationships with a high storage of passion are always evergreen and stand the test of time. So learn and try to ignite the passion in your relationship.
All these points have been tested and proven to work, but they may differ in all individuals. Its work rate depends on how much work you put into each point so think positive, have patience, learn to trust one another while being sincere because that’s when you can only get to understand more about your partner. Ignite the passion in your relationship today by making sacrifices and see it blossom like a garden of flowers
